Christ the Divine Teacher School
Our Parish School has provided a quality Catholic Education to the Latrobe community since Abraham Lincoln was President. Today named Christ The Divine Teacher School, our school has undergone a new phase since the 1990’s, having merged to create one united school community with St. John the Evangelist and Saint Vincent Basilica Parish.
Christ the Divine Teacher School, rooted in the teachings of the Catholic faith, prepares its students with a strong academic and spiritual foundation. Our students will serve the community as productive lifelong learners and global citizens. Our school allows children to grow and discover the God-given gifts in each of them. When they move from our caring walls, they leave as confident young people ready for the next step in their educational journey
Christ the Divine Teacher school contains students from 19 different parishes, as well as students from other religious denominations. Local communities served include: Latrobe, Ligonier, Derry, Greensburg, Mount Pleasant, Champion, Blairsville, Acme, Saltsburg and Pleasant Unity. Christ The Divine Teacher School remains a vital and expanding elementary school in the four county Diocese of Greensburg.
