JANUARY IS
PRO-LIFE MONTH

This month we are challenging our Ministries to join in a Pro-Life Rosary Campaign by pledging to say a rosary together as a group for one of the many prayer causes related to the sanctity of life. The Catholic Church is pro-LIFE which means that we care for the dignity offered to life at every stage. Our Parish Ministries will be choosing specific causes – from the unborn to the homeless to those on death row - to keep in their hearts during their rosary, asking the Blessed Mother for her intercession. All this month, we hope to join our hearts together as a community of faith for those who need our prayers most through the heart of our Mother in heaven. Below you will find opportunities for fellowship, resources for kids, ways to get involved, and more!

It is impossible to further the common good without acknowledging and defending the right to life, upon which all the other inalienable rights of individuals are founded and from which they develop. A society lacks solid foundations when, on the one hand, it asserts values such as the dignity of the person, justice and peace, but then, on the other hand, radically acts to the contrary by allowing or tolerating a variety of ways in which human life is devalued and violated, especially where it is weak or marginalized. Only respect for life can be the foundation and guarantee of the most precious and essential goods of society, such as democracy and peace.
