Meals on the Boulevard

Meals on the Boulevard is an outreach to the homeless of downtown Pittsburgh. Once a month a group from Holy Family Parish takes down a meal and serves those in need, offering fellowship as well as food. The group meets at Holy Family in the Social Hall at 6pm on the 2nd Thursday of the month and is usually back by 9pm. For more information on how you can get involved, contact Dawn at dawn@latrobecreation.org

Pro-Life Ministry

Our pro-life ministry is committed to helping others to live out the rich and vibrant teachings of the Church on life issues. They meet regularly on the 2nd Saturday of the month for 7am Mass in the Eucharistic Adoration Chapel, and then go down to Pittsburgh directly after to peacefully pray infront of the Highland Ave. abortion clinic. The group is back at Holy Family by noon. Please consider standing up for our unborn brothers and sisters! For more information on how you can get involved in pro-life ministry, contact Shari Lewis at lambchops711@verizon.net

Faith In Action

Faith in Action is an Eccumenical group in our area that serves clients of all denominations, including clients in our parish who are in need of a little help grocery shopping or doing yard work once in a while. Once we discovered that the majority of clients served in Latrobe belong to Holy Family, we decided we needed to get more involved as a parish! Please contact Darrel Dudik at DDudik@natenv.com for more info about how you can make a difference. You can visit their web site at: www.laurelfia.org

Bereavement Ministry

If you have recently lost a loved one, or would like to give back to the members of our parish by serving those who are grieving the loss of a friend or family member, the Bereavement Ministry is here to help. Offering support both at the time of death and in the months after, our Bereavement Ministry is a powerful witness to the hope of the Resurrection and the desire to walk with our brothers and sisters who are in pain.
